DEMCON has built up extensive experience with laser-based systems for measuring instruments and processing machinery. The often complex ‘beam delivery’ demands precise positioning, down to nanometre levels. The use of dedicated lasers, advanced 2D and 3D measurement techniques (such as OCT, Optical Coherence Tomography) and adaptive optics determines the final result. In this, DEMCON knows how to realise the optimum signal-to-noise ratio or the maximum processing result. Besides the hardware, DEMCON has full command of the software, from advanced vision algorithms to highly dynamic control systems.
DEMCON also takes care of the manufacture and assembly of high-accuracy optics in small runs. Development and construction of the alignment and qualification systems needed for this take place in-house.
